As we navigate crowded spaces—malls, office buildings, and public transport—it is not uncommon to feel part of a collective yet remain isolated. We seek comfort in digital interactions, connecting through screens, yet this can deepen our sense of separation. The omnipresence of technology creates a tension between being connected and lacking physical closeness.
Using drawing, photography, woodcut, etching, screenprint, and stop-frame animation, I investigate these conflicting feelings, deconstructing and abstracting familiar imagery.
