In a world of constant connectivity, we often encounter deep disconnection. As we navigate crowded spaces—malls, office buildings, and public transport—we find ourselves part of a collective yet remain isolated. We seek comfort in digital interactions, connecting through screens, but this can deepen our sense of separation. The omnipresence of technology creates a tension between being connected and lacking physical closeness.
Using drawing, photography, woodcut, etching, screenprint, and stop-frame animation, I investigate these conflicting feelings, deconstructing and abstracting familiar imagery. I layer and reshape these elements to create structure and flow. Guided by principles of materiality, repetition, spontaneity, and precision, I examine the balance between chaos and order.
